Links to retailers go through an internal address of the form /go/…. That page contains nothing: it checks that the offer is still publishable, then immediately redirects your browser to the retailer.

That redirect is what allows tracking addresses not to be exposed in the pages of the site. It passes on to the retailer the information your browser would send in any event when following a link, and nothing more: the page you came from is not disclosed to it, and this redirect is not indexed by search engines.

Once at the retailer, its own terms and its own trackers apply. The affiliate network for its part places the identifiers needed to attribute the order — that mechanism belongs to the network and is described in its own privacy policy.

The comparison service lists offers put forward by third-party retailers and lets users reach those retailers’ sites.

Where an affiliate partnership is active, some links may be affiliate links. If a user reaches a retailer through such a link and then makes a purchase meeting the conditions of the programme concerned, oryziah.com may receive a commission paid by the retailer or its affiliate network.

Using an affiliate link entails no additional charge billed to the user byoryziah.com.

Offers are ranked according to objective criteria.

Where the delivery charges needed for comparison are known reliably enough, offers may be ranked by their total price, comprising the product price and the applicable delivery charges.

Where delivery charges cannot be compared reliably, ranking is carried out on the product price and that limitation is stated to the user.

Any affiliate commission paid to oryziah.com plays no part in the ranking of offers by price.

This rule is also applied in the technical design of the service: information about commissions is not used by the mechanism that determines the order of offers by price.

An offer therefore cannot obtain a better position in the price ranking simply because it is likely to generate higher remuneration.

Should sponsored content or placements distinct from the comparative ranking be offered later, they will be presented separately and identified as such in accordance with the applicable rules.

Affiliate links are identified appropriately. The links concerned use the technical attribute rel="sponsored".

Visible information also allows users to understand that oryziah.com may receive remuneration when an eligible purchase is made after using an affiliate link.

Whether or not an affiliate link is used has no effect on the ranking of an offer by price.

Conversely, the existence of an affiliate relationship does not grant the retailer a better ranking by price.

The aim of the service is to let users compare offers according to the criteria presented by the comparison service, regardless of any remuneration associated with a transaction.
