What this site does
Oryziah compares the price of the same beauty product across several retailers. A product, here, is not a product name: it is a precise combination of brand, product, concentration and size. That is what separates a 100 ml eau de toilette from a 100 ml eau de parfum bearing the same name.
The catalogue is canonical and independent of retailers: four retailers selling the same barcode feed four offers and a single page. Without that, comparing would mean placing four different labels for the same bottle side by side and hoping they mean the same thing.
Where the prices come from
Prices come from the product feeds and interfaces made available by retailers and their affiliate networks. We carry out no automated collection on retailer sites: no extraction robot, no page copying.
Every offer carries the date it was last recorded. A price is a snapshot, not a commitment: the one that counts is the one shown by the retailer at the time of the order.
How the site is funded
Some links on this site are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you.
The most important consequence is this: the query that ranks the offers reads no commission data at all. That is not an intention, it is a property of the code. A better-paying offer is never moved up for that reason, and an unavailable offer keeps its position rather than being quietly set aside.
What this site does not do
It sells nothing. It takes no order, collects no payment, ships nothing and provides no after-sales service: all of that happens with the retailer, under their terms and conditions.
It does not rate products and aggregates no customer reviews. A score invented or taken from elsewhere would add nothing reliable. Nor does it give medical advice: the guides describe uses, never treatments.
