oryziah.com is a price comparison service. The site:

• does not allow a user account to be created;
• contains no form collecting personal data;
• uses no advertising tool;
• uses no third-party analytics tool;
• places no advertising or analytics cookie;
• hosts its typefaces locally.

Browsing the site nevertheless involves processing certain technical information necessary for it to work.

When the site is accessed, the server may record technical information such as:

• the IP address;
• the date and time of the request;
• the resource requested;
• the HTTP response code;
• technical information sent by the browser, such as the browser type or the user agent.

This information is used solely to keep the service running, detect anomalies, prevent abuse and security incidents and, where necessary, allow them to be diagnosed.

The legal basis for this processing is the controller’s legitimate interest in ensuring the operation and security of the service.

Server logs are kept for 3 years, save for a specific need arising from the analysis of a security incident or a legal obligation requiring a different retention period.

If you contact oryziah.com by e-mail, the information you provide is used in order to handle your request and reply to you.

The legal basis depends on the nature of the request and may rest in particular on the legitimate interest in answering enquiries received, or on the steps necessary to manage a relationship with a partner.

Correspondence is kept for as long as necessary to handle and follow up the request, then deleted or archived once its retention is no longer necessary, subject to applicable legal obligations.

As things stand, oryziah.com uses no advertising or analytics cookie requiring user consent.

No third-party analytics tool is currently enabled on the public pages of the service.

Should technologies requiring user consent be added later, they will be activated only once a mechanism has been put in place — where regulations require it — allowing users in particular:

• to choose the purposes authorised;
• and to withdraw consent subsequently.

Refusing must be as accessible as accepting.

As the comparison service evolves, new processing may become necessary, in particular to keep it running, measure service quality or enable redirects to retailers’ offers.

No future processing is deemed to be covered by this policy merely because it is technically planned in the project.

Before activation, each new processing operation will be analysed, covering in particular:

• the data genuinely necessary;
• its purpose;
• its legal basis;
• its retention period;
• its recipients;
• any use of processors;
• any transfers outside the European Economic Area;
• and whether user consent must be collected.

Links to retailers do not point directly to their sites: they go through an internal address of the form /go/…. That address displays no content — it checks that the offer is still publishable, then immediately redirects your browser to the retailer or to the affiliate network’s tracking link.

That redirect places no cookie and keeps no record of your click. The IP address passed on by the front-end server is used there for one thing only: counting recent redirects in order to limit their number per minute. That counter lives in memory, expires by itself, and is neither stored in a database nor written to an application log.

The redirect is sent with the no-referrer instruction: the comparison page you came from is not disclosed to the retailer. It also carries a no-indexing instruction, so that it does not appear in search engines.

When you follow a link to a retailer, you leave oryziah.com. The retailer’s site or the affiliate network concerned may then carry out its own processing and use cookies or other technologies in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Processing carried out by those third parties once you reach their services is not described by this policy.

oryziah.com currently measures no clicks or redirects: no visitor identifier is created, no journey is reconstructed, and the number of clicks per offer is not retained. Were such processing to be added, it would be documented here before being activated.

Personal data processed by oryziah.com is neither sold nor rented.

It may be accessible to technical providers strictly necessary for the operation and hosting of the service, to the extent necessary for their tasks.

The site is currently hosted by HOSTINGER INTERNATIONAL LIMITED.

When new providers or networks involving the processing of personal data are actually used by the service, this policy will be adapted if necessary.

Technical and organisational measures are implemented in order to protect the site and the information processed against, in particular, unauthorised access, loss, alteration or unauthorised disclosure.

These measures are proportionate to the nature of the service and are reassessed as it evolves.
